On-device transcription
Recordings are transcribed locally using whisper.cpp with Metal GPU acceleration — your voice never has to leave your phone to become text.
Search by meaning
InnerSay builds an on-device semantic vector index of your entries, so you can search for a feeling or a topic, not just an exact word, and it still finds the right entry.
AI insights and retrospectives
Each entry is analyzed on-device for mood, energy, and sentiment. Over time, InnerSay surfaces trends and weekly retrospectives — key wins, unresolved stressors, recurring goals — all computed locally.
Face ID lock
Optionally lock the app behind Face ID or your passcode, so your reflections stay private even if someone else picks up your phone.
Encrypted backup, your way
Entries live in local storage by default. If you want a backup, you choose the destination — your device's Files app, or your own iCloud Drive — and every backup is encrypted before it's written, using nothing but Apple's own systems. No third-party account, ever.
Restore anytime
Import a previous backup file from Local or iCloud Drive, and InnerSay merges it back in without creating duplicate entries.

Free, private, and yours

No accounts, no ads, no tracking SDKs. Recording, transcription, semantic search, and AI-generated mood insights all run entirely on your device. The one deliberate exception is backup — off by default, and if you turn it on, it only ever goes to a destination you choose yourself.
